As part of a Valentine’s Day giving initiative, a class of third graders created art for a class mother who was battling breast cancer. The messages of love and courage paired with a color of palette of blues, maroon and pinks to create a one of a kind group gift. It was the group’s hope that the quilt would be a physical display of their warmth and support.
Liz Coyle, Quiltlove’s founder, cut her teeth interning for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It was an honor to create this quilt for a breast cancer warrior.
