The off-white fabric has a tiny tonal print that could be interpreted as crosses, kisses, stars, jax and more, while the pebble blue fabric features small, mottled ovals. Our Pacifica quilt is a tastefully curated color combination that is appropriate for of all ages, and the color palette blends well with many home décor choices.

An artwork template can be a helpful handout if multiple people are creating art for this quilt, however it is not required. There is no additional charge for the creation of an artwork template.

Quilt theme (guidance for what people should draw on their squares)

While not required, a common theme will make your quilt more cohesive. Popular themes include flowers, plants and trees, sports, animals, self-portraits, handprints/hand outlines, seasonal activities and characters from books. Use your imagination!

Should project participants be instructed to use the same color palette for their artwork?(Required)

Yes, a consistent color palette is desired for both the fabric and the drawings/messages.

No, individuals are free to use any colors on their squares.

We recommend the first option, using a consistent color palette for both the fabric and the drawings and messages, for a more cohesive look. That said, some groups — particularly those involving children — prefer to leave the artwork instructions open. It’s your choice!

SUMMER 2024 SCHEDULE: Quilts with all artwork received by May 4 will ship by May 31. Quilts with artwork received after May 4 will ship mid-August, or later should you please. We recommend giving groups about 2 weeks to purchase squares and submit artwork (during regular season quilts ship 2-4 weeks after the deadline to submit art).

A standard sized quilt contains 88 total squares, a subset of which are “custom.” Custom squares are those squares printed with your unique artwork, messages, photos, etc. Custom squares cost $29.99 each and directly correspond to the price of the quilt.
