The Coziest Way to Show Support
A Group Quilt is an Ideal Breast Cancer Support Gift
Personal, Meaningful and Oh-So-Snuggly
With Quiltlove, friends and family can wrap a loved one facing breast cancer in love they can feel through the gift of a custom quilt. A custom quilt is an ideal breast cancer support gift, featuring artwork and messages from the quilt recipient’s support network and the coziest sherpa backing, giving the recipient the warm feeling of a group hug in the midst of difficult times.
Whether a loved one is undergoing chemotherapy in a cold hospital setting, recuperating at home in isolation, or at a different stage in their cancer journey, a quilt is a group gift that offers connection, warmth and love they can truly feel.
How it Works
An organizer identifies a group interested in gifting a quilt to a shared friend or family member on a breast cancer journey.
Members of the group individually purchase squares ($25 each) for the patchwork quilt. 15 squares must be purchased for the quilt to be sewn.
Project participants draw pictures for their squares and email them to Quiltlove to be digitally printed on white fabric.
Quiltlove sews the squares into a custom quilt and ships it for FREE to the recipient, with a card listing the names of everyone who participated.
To begin, we need some information about your breast cancer support gift and a $25 non-refundable setup fee. Once we’ve received and reviewed your submission, we will email your group the link to a tailored project page similar to this one and send you an artwork template for two quilt squares (a $50 value). Let’s get this quilt started!
Thank you! We will review your submission and send you a confirmation email within 1 business day, asking for a list of email addresses for people you would like to invite to join in this group gift, where to mail the quilt and a couple of final details.
We look forward to wrapping your breast cancer warrior in love they can feel.
