I’m breaking my summer hiatus to share that for the first time ever, I’ll be at the Lafayette Art and Wine Festival on September 21-22! I’ve never had a presence at this type of an event before and I’m equal parts nervous and excited. If members of this community have tips for preparing for a successful craft fair booth, send them my way. I’ll all ears!

What I’ll be Selling

I’m still developing the concept for the collection of products that I’ll be selling at the Art and Wine Festival, but here’s what you can expect to find at my booth:

  • An explosion of color, in the form of beautiful, one-of-a-kind, handmade quilts.
  • Winter weight quilts, backed with my favorite snuggly white sherpa.
  • Lighter weight quilts, backed with premium Liberty fabric.
  • A range of large, throw-style quilts and small baby quilts.
  • One of a kind mini-quilt notecards.

In addition, I’ll be taking orders for my signature custom group quilts featuring your group’s notes, artwork and photos.

Consistent with my ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, for every ten quilts I sell at the Art and Wine Festival, I will donate one to George Mark Children’s House.

About the Art Festival

The Art and Wine Festival is put on by the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and is always a scene. You can expect to find amazing art from local makers, seriously great food, wine and beer, music across four different stages, and a whole lot of local community. The Festival spans the weekend, is accessible via BART and has Kid Zones for the littles. Lace up your sneakers and get ready for a seriously fun time.

Quiltlove will be located in the Local Artist Alley in La Fiesta Square. If you are in the Bay Area this weekend, please swing by and say hi! I would love to see some familiar faces among the crowd.

Stay Tuned…

I’ll be quiet for the next few weeks as I continue to enjoy a summer break with my family, but will resume sewing in August.

Stay tuned to my social media in late summer for a sneak peek of some of the quilts I’ll be selling at the Art and Wine Festival. I pour my heart into everything I make and it’s a thrill to share them with the world. I hope you like them!
