I’m thrilled to announce a special goody for this incredible community of support-squad-organizers, get-well-cheerleaders, hard-time-helpers and all around good people. My friend, the creative Swiss army knife, Bri James, has created a downloadable card just for Quiltlove. No surprise, it’s adorable. Print a few copies of this free greeting card today, get out those art supplies and keep spreading the love!

Download Rooting for You Card

This playful, coloring-book style card is available in half fold and quarter fold versions, sized to fit standard 8.5×11″ printer paper. I love the “We’re Rooting for You” message because it works for a range of occasions (and I cannot resist puns). Whether a loved one is battling cancer, facing hospitalization, starting a new job, or otherwise going through a challenging time, the message applies. It’s a fun, easy peasy way to brighten someone’s day, all for the cost of a postage stamp. With unlimited downloads, the possibilities are endless. A card a day, anyone?

My boys and I colored some cards this weekend and they came out great. It was also a surprisingly relaxing activity to do together, between baseball games, a cub scouts meeting and the usual hustle and bustle. It felt good to take some time from our day to color and chat in the sun. I’m planning on mailing them to a few people in our lives who are going through some stuff and I know they will be well-received.
